August 31, 2009

ETA Star Hospitality, the hospitality arm of ETA Star Properties, a leading property developer in the UAE, has officially opened its hotel apartment venture StarBoutique Clock Tower, announced during a press conference held today at the new 90-apartment creek-side tower venue.

As a first-of-its-kind project for the premier property developer, StarBoutique Clock Tower has been constructed to satisfy Dubai’s burgeoning demand for fully serviced hotel apartments that combine personalized home-style hospitality with luxurious hotel amenities. StarBoutique Clock Tower, inspired by the homely concept of ‘no rooms, only homes’ hospitality, offers studio-type, one-bedroom and two-bedroom apartments fitted with home furnishings and a range of modern amenities such as internet access (including WiFi). To enhance home-style living, guests also enjoy the services of housekeeping staff, who maintain upkeep of the apartments especially for busy occupants.

‘The StarBoutique Clock Tower has been fully completed and ready for occupation. We are opening business at a time when Dubai is emerging as a destination of choice for global networking and trade fair events, in addition to a premier tourism hub,’ said Riyazur Rahman, Director of ETA Star Hospitality, a specialized hotel management organization responsible for managing a chain of hotels including StarBoutique.

Two contracts awarded for developments worth AED 800 M

August 3, 2009

ETA Star, the first freehold property developer in the region to receive an ISO 9001: 2000 certification, moved forward with its premier twin projects – The Centrium in the International Media Production Zone (IMPZ) and Al Manara located at Business Bay – after handing out construction contracts for its projects with development value worth AED 800 million to M/S Ascon and Civil Co.

ETA Star sealed a deal with Civil Co. for the construction of The Centrium, a sprawling 4 tower apartment complex that will sit at the heart of the IMPZ on the Emirates Road. For the construction of the Al Manara project, a luxurious one-stop business centre, which is the first commercial venture by a private developer in the prestigious Business Bay, ETA Star has tapped the services of M/S Ascon.

With the enabling foundations of both projects completed late last year by the Dutch Foundation, ETA Star now focuses on the construction of the main structures. The Centrium expected to be ready by May 15, 2009, and the Al Manara by January 10, 2009.

“ETA Star is focused on ensuring that all its projects maintain remarkably high standards,” said Abid A. Junaid, Executive Director of ETA Star. “With Civil Co. and M/S Ascon’s proven track record, we are confident that we can again deliver the best quality to all our end clients. We are confident of our partnership forged with these two companies will be for the greater good of all our customers.”

Comprising of meticulously designed one-, two- and three-bedroom apartments that boast of a lovely mix of elegant interiors and lush green landscapes, The Centrium has four distinctive tower blocks that are connected by link bridges, which are by themselves an attraction, presenting a view of the stunning contrast that Dubai offers – the serenity of the landscaped deck and the adjacent parks against the buzzing city beyond.

The Centrium is dotted with a host of leisure facilities, such as a temperature-controlled swimming pool, jacuzzis, children’s pool, separate gym and health club for men and women, jogging tracks located at a landscaped deck, children’s play area and a sprawling parking lot. There will also be prayer rooms, a library, a reading room, a games room, a billiard room and a day-care centre.

Designed by the renowned Singapore-based firm “Architects 61”, Al Manara’s 31 top-class office and commercial complex reflect a sense of style and functionality. To make their daily routine easier, office goers can find a retail area in the ground floor where a food court, travel desk and other facilities will be made available. An ample car park will be provided, while business facilities for different commercial demands will be available within the complex to enhance corporate efficiency.

“With all the stakeholders committed to a common goal, we are confident that the projects will meet the highest quality standards and will be completed on the mark,” said Junaid. “It only motivates us to work harder knowing that our clients are eagerly awaiting the completion of these magnificent facilities.”
